Promoting Water Conservation and Sanitation Awareness
TAR UMT advances water sustainability through a combination of infrastructure improvements, awareness programmes, and student-led initiatives that promote responsible water use and sanitation practices. Key efforts include the installation of water-efficient fixtures and rainwater harvesting systems on campus, alongside educational campaigns that raise awareness on water conservation and hygiene. Through talks, exhibitions, and community engagement activities, students and staff are encouraged to adopt sustainable water practices, contributing to reduced water consumption and improved environmental stewardship both on campus and in surrounding communities.
