Sustainable Schools Initiative- Empowering Future Builders. A Corporate Social Responsibility and Knowledge Transfer Programme by the Faculty of Built Environment to instill sustainable practices and environmental awareness (UN SDG12: Responsible Consumption and Production) among 265 students from SK Wangsa Maju Seksyen 2, Kuala Lumpur. This programme was co-organised by The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Malaysia, and funded by TAR UMT’s industry partner Wawasan Properties Development (M) Sdn Bhd.
Department of Mata Pelajaran Umum, FSSH community engagement under MPU-3202 Service Learning. MPU-3202 Service Learning is designed to introduce students to the principles and practices of service learning and community engagement. Through a combination of classroom instruction and practical experience, students will explore the role of civic responsibility, social justice, and ethical engagement in creating positive change within communities. Service Learning can help students to integrate classroom learning with hands-on community service projects. In the 202309 semester, our ‘Service Learning’ students from different programmes conducted a number of community projects. The main purpose of all the projects was to share and apply their knowledge for the benefit of the community. Some of the projects are listed below:

3. Workshop on ‘Accounting as Career Path’ at Pusat Tuisyen T.A.C

5. Establishing Food Delivery System for ‘ 233 Kopitiam’.
6. Teaching Orphan children at ‘Sweet Care Home’
7. Optimising and Organising Logistic Operations at ‘Beyond Brothers Sdn. Bhd.’
8. Teaching Budget Management Skill to students at a Tuition Centre
9. Creating Inventory Control System at ‘Truesonic Electronics Sdn. Bhd’.
10. Creating Marketing Plan for ‘Borneo Ocean Delight Restaurant’.
Digital Strategy for Business Workshop and Games Activities at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Chong Hwa organised by the Faculty of Accountancy, Finance, and Business. The Research Project is to Enhance Digitalisation Knowledge Among Secondary School Students.
